Bike Rental Preston Palace

Preston Palace is located on the outskirts of the city of Almelo, just a stone's throw from the rural countryside: the green heart of Twente. This beautiful area is perfect for a lovely bike ride. Prominent church spires guide you to rustic villages, while castles and watermills offer a glimpse into Twente's rich history.

In the city of Almelo, you can feel the historical atmosphere in the charming streets and alleys, at beautiful buildings and museums, and around Castle Huize Almelo. Besides Almelo, the picturesque towns of Ootmarsum and Delden, as well as the large shopping city of Enschede, are also well worth a visit.

Accessories

Helmets, bike bags, chain locks, child seats, and cargo bike seats for the little ones are also available. Ask at the reception.

Bike and Canoe Package

For groups of 9 to 35 people, we offer a unique experience: ride a standard bicycle with three gears to the canoe boarding point in Zenderen or Hertme and paddle through the beautiful Twente landscape back to Almelo. Choose from two packages: Zenderen (2.5 hours of canoeing) or Hertme (3.5 hours of canoeing).

Reservations 

At the reception of Preston Palace, you can rent a (electric) bike, children's bike, or cargo bike daily. This can only be done in combination with a hotel stay. Advance reservations are also possible by contacting the Reservations department by phone: +31546542121. It is important to make the reservation before 10:00 PM on the day before the rental period.
