The new water slide Monkey Rush is open!

WATER FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

On Monday, June 20, Preston Palace's new water attraction was officially opened. At 10:00, director-major shareholder Carlo Slag unveiled the name Monkey Rush and cut the ribbon. Sem then made history as the 'First guest of the Preston Palace water slide'. After this historic slide, the interactive waterslide was opened to the general public.

Guest wish comes true 
In January 2022, construction began on the new water slide at the subtropical swimming paradise. The slide starts at a height of four meters and descends through three bends. It is equipped with a range of multimedia, including themed choices, timekeeping and touch points. With the realization of this interactive water attraction, Preston Palace is fulfilling the wishes of its guests. It offers plenty of challenges for the entire family and is a valuable addition to the unique offering of the All-in Family Resort.

Even more subtropical spectacle 
On average, 210,000 hotel guests, 50,000 day guests and nearly 100,000 pool guests visit the tropical jungle each year. An expedition in Riviera with whirlpools, steam room and steam acceleration offers even more spectacle thanks to the Monkey Rush. The opening of the slide also directly entails a widening of the pool. In addition, the hospitality area will be renewed with a spacious terrace on the water and Riviera Wellness will continue to offer relaxing treatments. 

Interactive water experience
Via the spiral staircase the slide adventure starts from the tropical starry sky. At the top you choose from one of the many experiences with accompanying music, light effects and a speedometer. During the exciting water ride you will complete tasks and end with a splashing landing in the warm water. Those who thought that this was a relaxing ride should adjust their expectations to 'adventurous'. Each visitor is challenged to be the fastest and to achieve the most touch points. Daily scores are recorded on a screen. The ultimate triumph is to crush the fastest time. Are you up to the challenge? 

Sem is the first 
On Facebook and Instagram one lucky person was selected via a win campaign to be the first to take up the exciting challenge during the opening. That was Sem with his dad Bas, mom Monique and brother Tygo. Super proud he made the first 'ride' through the Monkey Rush. And from the big smile on his face we conclude: the new waterslide is a mega upgrade for All-in Family Resort Preston Palace!
